Shout out to James, our newest Marketing Manager at Magneti! We are beyond excited to welcome James to our team, and we’re pretty sure you’ll love getting to know him.

What drew you to Magneti?
Something about the name seemed to pull at me… I can’t explain it!

Kidding, I’m kidding. Honestly, the first thing was the humor-infused job description itself. Then, it was the videos of the staff on the website – the culture seemed fun and hardworking and, above all, smart.

If you could live in any other era, when would you choose?
Definitely the 3010’s… mostly for the view from my outer space parlor and obviously the live music scene.

Name one skill you believe you’ve mastered.
I don’t mean to brag but I’m highly skilled at cooking a single egg. So, if you ever need someone to cook a single egg for you, give me a shout.

If everything you ever lost was suddenly returned to you, what would you most be excited to see?
My Sonic Youth “Dirty” t-shirt would be a good start. Also the login info for my very first email address (lookin’ at you, hotmail).

What is your favorite toy or game?
Scrabble. Doesn’t matter if it’s digital or on a real board, it’s the best game.

If you had one extra hour in the day, what would you do with it?
Not to be cliche, but definitely sleep. You never know – it might end up being that one magical hour that removes the dark circles from under my eyes.

If you were a superhero, what would your superpower and name be?
NEVER-LOSES-HIS-KEYS MAN! Because I lose my keys too often. But probably wouldn’t if I were Never-Loses-His-Keys-Man.

Ice Cream or Froyo?
I can’t even get behind the moniker “froyo,” so definitely ice cream. Rocky Road, specifically, which seems to be an endangered ice cream at this point. The only brands that still seem to be making it are the brands whose products I don’t really want to eat.

If you could have a one-on-one dinner with any person, alive or dead, who would it be?
George Carlin. Who would probably say “Why the #%@^!%#&$* did you bring me back for this?!?!?”

What advice would you give your younger self?
Relax more, worry less.
